How do I care for my Kelpiefins tail?
After each use, rinse thoroughly in fresh water. Remove the vinyl monofin casing and turn inside out to ensure you have removed all of the debris (silt, sand, etc) from your tail. Avoid wringing the fabric and lay flat to dry. If you have algae stains on your tail, use a mild detergent and gently scrub the fabric until the stain has disappeared. Make sure to dry completely before storing to avoid mildew.
Kelpiefins signature mermaid tails bring art to life. They are made with 4-way stretch scuba knit fabric that is dye-sublimated with a high resolution realistic design. Each tail includes a vinyl monofin casing that must be worn with a monofin (see recommended monofins in the FAQ). Vinyl casings feature velcro straps to hold your monofin in place. Your Kelpiefins Signature tail features an invisible zipper to insert your vinyl and monofin with ease.
